Margaret Josephine Madden's Obituary
On Thursday, February 11, 2021, Margaret Josephine Madden, loving Wife, Mother, and Nana, passed away from Alzheimer’s disease, with her family by her side. She was 76. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Peter, daughters Louise, and Claire (Gary) and grandchildren, Caitlin, Gavin, and Riley. She was a loving sister, Aunt and friend to many. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, John, and Eileen, and her sister Rosaleen.
Margaret was born in Buxton, England and moved to the USA in 1980. She resided in Cleveland, Ohio until 1997, then moved to Annapolis, Maryland. She had a passion for outdoor activities, including gardening, camping and sailing. She loved reading, and started her career as a teacher in England, before going to work for The Cleveland Clinic. While living in Annapolis, she worked for the Annapolis Capital Newspaper until retiring. There will be no funeral service at this time. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory, to the Alzheimer’s Association of America.
