Geneva loved her family and was a mother figure to all of her siblings. She treated her nieces and nephews as her own children. Every niece and nephew has a story about the numerous outings, gifts, and love that she shared with each of them individually. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lonnie Brown and Glenn Brown, Sr., her sister Betsy Pindell, and her niece, Michell Savoy.
Geneva was a faithful and lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Annapolis, MD, where she served on the I.R. Berry Chancel Choir and the Senior Choir, but her passion was the Sunday School program. She served as the Superintendent of Sunday School for over 20 years. She also played a major role in the Auditing Committee, especially because it was her expertise.
Geneva was a proud member of the Order of Easter Star, Miriam Chapter #24.
During her free time she loved to watch game shows and do crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader. She could spend hours in the bookstore.
