Margaret Black's Obituary
Margaret Grace Black was born on December 10, 1944. She was one of fourteen children born to the late Daniel Nathaniel Randall, Sr. and Mary Virginia (Hall) Randall. Margaret passed away peacefully on January 9, 2023.
She received her education in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She worked as a housekeeper and Nurse’s Aide for the elderly, something she really loved.
Margaret dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized on February 17, 1973 along with her sisters, Carrie and Mary. She served as a regular pioneer for over ten years. Although completely bedridden later in life, she continued to tell others about Jehovah and enjoyed being able to see her spiritual family whether in person before the pandemic of by Zoom during the pandemic.
She met, fell in love with, and married William Jordan Black on December 19, 2006.
Margaret will long be remembered for being a caring and giving person. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and even adopting many others as her own. She loved playing cards, swimming, listening to music, and dancing. She was even a song writer!
She was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Tongue; brothers, Frank Wilson Parker and Daniel Nathaniel Randall, Jr.; and grandson, Kameron.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, William; children, Stanley Augustus Kent (Vera), Doris Virginia Harrod, Monroe Crowner Harrod, Jr. (Glori), Percy Orlando Harrod (Valyncia), Regina Demetria Vargas (Jonathan), and Nathaniel Alphonso Harrod; siblings, Carrie, Harvey, Mary, Robert, Elaine, Michael, Larry, Delores, Debbie, Pamela; grandchildren, Damario, Stanley, Jr. Jeremiah, Cherish, Tiffany, Tiesha, Priscilla, Maiya, Jaron, Za’Daya, Mari, and Zaria; and a number of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that will miss her dearly.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 10-11 am at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care. Margaret's funeral service will begin at 11 and will be livestreamed for guests who are unable to attend in-person. Interment will be private.
