Marcella Mary LaFianza's Obituary
Born and raised in Homestead PA. She was a good student and loved school.
Married at 19 to her high school sweetheart Ernest Peter LaFianza on Thanksgiving Day in 1952. They were together for 67 years. Ernie's job had them living in places like San Diego, New Jersey, Virginia, Puerto Rico and finally here in Maryland.
She had a variety of jobs like a cashier for Sears, a Real Estate Agent with Century 21, also a clerical assistant for the Bowie Blade News Paper. But her favorite job title was being an Accountant for Giant Food.
A strong woman of Faith and a very Caring woman. Her love of God brought her to Cornerstone Assembly of God in Bowie Md. Where she was one of the founding members.
God blessed her with 4 children, 7 Grandchildren one of whom met her at the pearly gates and 6 Great Grandchildren.
