Lula Mae King's Obituary
. Lula Mae King was born October 31, 1943 to Bee Troy and Addline Troy in Whiteville, NC. She attended Central High School. She was later joined in holy matrimony to Larry W. King. To this union four children were born. She worked at Fort Meade, Maryland as a Greeter and Sales Associate. Lula loved life and her family. She was a caring and loving mother, and always there to help a friend in need. She accepted Christ early in her life.
Lula was preceded in death by her son, Larry, Jr.; brother, Robert C. Troy of Florida; sisters, Wanda Troy of Alexandria, Va., Brenda McGrath of Alexandria, Va., and Mary Clarida of Nakina, NC.; brothers-in-law, Ronald McGrath of Alexandria, Va., and Joe Clarida of Nakina, NC.
She leaves her three children to cherish fond memories, Deneen King of Pasadena, Md., Renaldo King of Culver City, Ca., Christopher (Jennifer) King of Pasadena, Md.; brothers, Kermit (Brenda) Troy of Locust Grove, Va., Waddell Troy of Whiteville, NC, Wendell (Lorria) Troy of Grays Creek, NC; a special friend, Julian Georgie of Baltimore, Md.; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and a host of family and friends.
Lula departed this life Friday, October 10, 2014 at Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood, Md. surrounded by her children.
