Louis Gregg LeFlore's Obituary
On Friday, August 5, 2011, Elder Louis G. LeFlore, 66, a minister and construction company owner, died peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at the Gilchrist Hospice Care in Towson, MD. He was a resident of Washington, DC for many years and currently resided in Baltimore, MD. He is survived by his devoted wife of twelve years, Arthenia Johnson LeFlore, daughters, Charlotte McCann of Atlanta, GA and Loretta Bachus of Syracuse, New York and her husband George Bachus; a step son Donald K. Hawkins of Denton, MD and his wife Malonia Hawkins; mother-in-law Mildred J. Larkins of Baltimore, MD, fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; three brothers, Dr. James LeFlore of Oswego, New York, Dr. Ives LeFlore of Woodbine, MD, Reverend Walter LeFlore of Boston, MA; three sisters, Florence Anderson of Pensacola, Fla., Pat Francois of Brooklyn, New York and Loretta Wells of Silver Spring, MD, one aunt Mrs. Martha Matthew of Coy, Ala and a host of other relatives.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit from 4 to 7 PM at the family resident located at 4604 Mannasota Avenue, Baltimore, MD on Thursday, August 11, 2011.
A Christian wake will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, August 12, 2011 and 10 to 10:30 am on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Funeral services will be 11:00 am. All services will be held at the Cecil Memorial United Methods Church, 15 Parole Street, Annapolis, MD. Burial will be at Bestgate Memorial Park immediately following services.
