I will never forget Christmas 2001 where Lizel so kindly opened her home to our family for the loveliest Christmas dinner we have ever had. At everyplace setting, she placed a White House Christmas ornament for each guest. I still have that ornament and I was holding it this year around the holidays, and it made me think of her. I was so sad to hear the news, but I am confident she is in a better place with God. I will really miss Lizel's kindness and smile.
