Linda Ann Lee's Obituary
Linda Ann Lee was born on September 1, 1950 to the late Robert Louis Lee, Sr. and Thelma Costella Brooks Lee in Washington, D.C. She was the second of their four children.
She was educated in the District of Columbia school system where she finalized her education at McKinley Technical High School. She began her working career as a clerk at the United States Printing Office in Washington, D.C. There she would serve as a federal employee for nearly 30 years before retiring. Linda was a very outgoing and friendly person and was liked by all who knew her.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her late mother, Thelma, as she was the only girl in a family of three brothers. She also enjoyed times with her nieces and nephews. She especially enjoyed times with her sister-in-law, Lanoria, and her husband, Charles Black. Linda and Lanoria grew up together like sisters and partied and danced the nights away as young women. However, as Linda's health declined due to her struggles with dementia, Lanoria truly would become a sister. She cared for, encouraged, stood up for, and supported the family until her very end.
On Saturday, December 9, 2023, Linda transitioned from this life to be with her Lord and Savior. She was 73 years old. Preceding her in death was her brother, Walter Tyrone Lee.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory, two brothers, Robert Louis Lee, Jr. (Deborah), Vernon Ward, also known as "Bubbles"; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
May Linda's soul forever rest in peace.
