Lillian Magustus Jackson's Obituary
Lillian Magustus Jackson, 91, entered eternal rest on April 21, 2024. She was born on September 5, 1932 to her parents, the late Horace Leroy Sembly and Mary Alice Turner Sembly. Lillian attended Wiley H. Bates High School in Annapolis, MD.
Lillian worked as a Sterile Processing Technician at Anne Arundel Medical Center where she retired after 50 years. She was a lifetime member of Fresh Start Church (formerly The Rapture Church) where she served as an usher and choir member. Lillian enjoyed basketball, especially Michael Jordan, playing cards (mainly solitaire), eating crabs, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Leroy Sembly and Mary Alice Turner Sembly; daughter, Tarnese Jones Chapman; siblings, Gertrude Johnson, Louis Sembly, John Sembly, Mary Jacobs, Joseph Sembly, Sr., and Julia Saunders.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Deborah Denise Jackson, Jacqueline Yvonne Jackson, and Rhonda Jones Turner; brother, Charles Leroy Sembly; grandchildren, Joseph S. Graves, Sr., Tiona Mi’chon Sesker, Bryan A. Turner, Jr.,Roscoe Lawton, and Yasmine B. Price; and great-grandchildren, Deonte, Joseph Jr.,Khaliq, and Joy Graves, Jaiden and Brynn Jones, and Sebastian Price. She also leaves to cherish her memories, special family members, Darryl Chapman, Sgt Maj. USMC, ret., and Sylvester Price II, CW4, USA, ret.
