The first time I saw Coach LeRoy was on the basketball court working with the Rivehawk team. His presence was impactful in the way he continuously encouraged and taught, never losing sight that he was a mentor to those young men. Though I only knew him a short while, I know he was a good man and good men will always be remembered. I thank God for putting Coach LeRoy in my life for a season.

I send my sincerest condolences during this sad time. Cousin Jr. is gone but he will never be forgotten. His memory will live forever and you all must hold on to your memories for they will provide you comfort. I'm truly going to miss his morning texts with a blessing for the day.

I only knew LeRoy for a very short period but he left a lasting impression. Over the last few years I had the opportunity to see him work with our men's basketball team. He never missed the opportunity to say hi and greet me with a smile. I watched him mentor our student-athletes and he was always concerned about their growth as young men. He truly seemed so happy to be out there with the team and he will be sorely missed by his Riverhawk family. - Duane H.
