Lawrence Michael Simonson's Obituary
Lawrence M. Simonson affectionately known as Larry was born on June 16, 1954 to Bertha Simonson Delzeit and the late Paul Simonson. God called his son Larry home after a battle with cancer on November 27, 2015.
Larry was born in Wilkes Barre, PA. He later came to Temple hills, MD where he was educated in the P.G. county school system, graduating from Potomac High. He began a career in the sheet metal field which led to employment at A.L. Merton. Larry loved his job and most of all he enjoyed his Merton family. Larry’s family would like to give them a special thank you for all the help they provided.
Larry leaves his love and courage to a devoted wife, Peggy Becker; son, Michael; three granddaughters, Ember, Remy, Sam; loving mother, Bertha Simonson Delzeit; one sister Pam Belcasto; three brothers, Paul Simonson, Phillip Delzeit and Frederick Delzeit; a host of nieces and nephews; and many special friends and lifelong buddies who will miss their dear friend. Larry was preceded in death by his step father, Frederick Delzeit.
A gathering will be held from 10am to 11am on Friday, December 4th at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care 814 Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD 21401. A funeral will follow at 11 am. Burial will be private.
