It’s hard to believe my friend is really gone. The first thing that comes to mind is that serious look he gave me when he said, “Just call me Larry.” That moment still makes me smile, because it was so him warm, and quietly funny all at once.
I’ll always remember the way he made people feel seen. He didn’t talk much, but when he looked at you, you felt it. And the humor he could slip a joke into the middle of anything, even on the days when life felt heavy.
I’ll never forget the advice he shared with me, especially the investment tips he delivered like secrets I needed to hold onto. That stays with me. So does his kindness, and the strength he carried even on his hardest days.
I’m grateful I got to know him not as just a client, but as a friend. Our time together, the conversations, the laughs those are gifts I’ll carry with me.
Mr Larry wouldn’t want sadness to have the final word. So for him, I’ll keep choosing kindness, keep laughing, and keep living with the same gentle courage he showed every day.
My friend, thank you for letting me into your life. You may be gone, but you’ll never be forgotten. Rest well.
