Please accept my family's condolences. We just found out about Larry's passing. My boys have such fond memories of Larry from when they were littles in "the hood" from building snow igloos, walking trails in the woods or just sitting on the stoop talking. Even when we moved away when they would bump into Larry in/around town they would come home excited to say "I just talked with Mr. Larry " with great big smiles on their faces. You faught a long hard battle, rest in peace.
Having known Larry since the beginning of his cancer diagnosis and seeing him on his last day of his fight. He was one of the kindest, most positive persons I have ever met. He stayed optimistic and kept smiling through all of his treatments and setbacks. I have seen many people give up and get angry at the world for far smaller reasons. Despite what life threw at him, he stayed positive and appreciated every minute he had. He will forever be an inspiration to me and my staff. We miss you Larry!
The kindness, compassion and knowledge this man shared on a daily basis was such an inspiration to me and my family. So many memories of trips and special events we shared i could fill a book. One particular memory that keeps playing in my mind this week is of our families sitting on the beach in Rehoboth Beach and Trevor and Larry going to get a drink on boardwalk and both of them coming back to our spot on the sand with a question.... “what is a twerk?” 4 grown adults having no idea and googling it and laughing hysterically as they explained to us that a “couple of girls just asked us if we wanted to twerk”
Special times i will never forget.
I don’t have a single memory of Mr. Larry where he wasn’t being kind and sharing knowledge. I will never forget him telling me and the other kids from the neighborhood about birds when he took us on a hike when I was about 7 or 8. I also can’t count how many good movies my family borrowed from him over the years :) He was a wonderful neighbor, friend, and person.
Larry was a great Uncle, brother in law and friend. He was a person who would come to your rescue no matter what he was doing. He always treated people like they were more important than himself. He listened to you and really listened to you. A person that was interested in what you were saying and not what he wanted to say next. What a fighter!! Come on, really seven times with cancer and beat them every time!!! This last one was an enemy but he lived until he was ready. I still believe he was not beaten... He left on his own terms....A true Human that God put on this earth to make a difference and he certainly did.... The kids, Eric and I will always treasure his company and his zest for life...
Mr. Larry has been my friend and neighbor all my life. I have happy memories of him playing in the snow with me and my sister and Connor and Devyn, and distinctly recall him standing at the top of the hill to make sure all of the neighborhood kids went down the hill one at a time to make sure we didn't crash into each other. When my mom was undergoing cancer treatment, he drove me and my sister to school, dance rehearsals, soccer practices, and orchestra concerts. He was a constant comfort to me and family during a truly difficult time, as this was his nature. His children, Connor and Devyn, have inherited his kindness and compassion for others, and I know how tremendously proud he is of them both.
I will miss Mr. Larry's friendly waves as we pass each other on the sidewalk and will never forget what an important part of my childhood he was. I know I would not be who I am today without his special influence.

Larry was a great friend and neighbor. I have countless good memories of my times spent with him. I particularly enjoyed our conversations about movies. He was very knowledgeable about so many different type movies and was always eager to loan us movies that we hadn’t seen. He introduced me to movies I had never even heard of. One of those, The Taking of Pellum 123, has become one of my all-time favorites. He loaned many movies to my daughters over the years. They owe their knowledge of and love for the Bob Hope-Bing Crosby road movies to Larry. I recall watching with him the Dana Andrew’s movie Beyond a Reasonable Doubt. Larry couldn’t talk by then, but at the dramatic turning point in the story (a shocking twist) I remember exchanging glances with him and knowing exactly what he was thinking. He had a great respect and admiration for good movie making. I knew that this movie met his approval.
I will miss Larry so much. He was a rock for our family. He was always there when we needed him.
My sincerest condolences to The Brosan Family. Praying that you have peace and are comforted by God's love and the wonderful memories of Larry. I knew him for about five years seeing him pick Lisette up from work late nights. Such a strong and courageous man. Blessings to the family and his friends.
