Larry Ornell Tasker's Obituary
Larry Ornell Tasker, Age 68 was born March 16, 1953 in Washington, DC. To the late James Edward Tasker & Martha E. Brooks. On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, Larry departed his life peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland surrounded by loved ones.
Larry received his education in Anne Arundel County Public School.
Larry served three years in the United States Marine Corp.
Larry’s hobbies included working on cars and playing basketball. An avid Cowboys, Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan fan. He was always involved with his nieces and nephews activities and encouraged them to stay on track. Children were a big deal to Larry! He was also well known for his many jokes and could always put a smile on someone’s face on the worst of days. Larry enjoyed the old western movies and going to rodeos. One of his favorite vacationing places was going to Ocean City, Maryland several times a year enjoying the boardwalk, his favorite foods, socializing, and car shows. Larry worked as a truck driver for several companies, Brooks Brothers Lumber Co. and Freestate Septic. He also worked building and ground for C &P Telephone Co., The Capital Gazette and St. John’s College until retiring. Larry held a position on the media team at Severna Park Church of God in which he loved doing. Larry was a loving and devoted uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
