Larry Lamont Smith Jr.'s Obituary
On February 3rd 2017 our Lord and Savior called Larry home to be with him. Larry Lamont (Mann) Smith Jr. was born September 2nd 1978 to the late Larry Lamont (Lolly Pop) Smith Sr. & Barbara Ann (Peggy) Tasker of Lothian Maryland.
Larry was a graduate of Southern High School. Larry began his employment with Giant Food Services and was a dedicated worker. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends laughing, joking and carrying on. His favorite past times included playing video games, watching Sponge Bob, wrestling, spending time at the casinos and listening to select gospel songs along with The Temptations. Larry also had a deep love for his pet son (Mannie) a long haired Pomeranian. If you knew Larry you would know that he loved from his heart. Larry also loved and cherished his mom and often commend her for all that’s she’s done for him throughout the years. She was his best friend a bond that could never be broken.
Larry leaves to mourn his Mother Barbara A. Tasker, Grandfather Joseph J. Holland, Sisters; Schwanda Smith-Gray (Theo Jr.), Barbara Beamon-Johnson (Gregory Jr.), Rosie L. Neely (Andre Sr.), Sandra Griffin-Scott (Maurice). Aunts; Wendy Hamilton, Ruthie Evans, Pamela Ray, Garnett Ghonda, Sharon Weems and Helen Copeland- DeJarnette (Troy). Uncles; Pasqule “Jerome” Johnson and Clayton Thomas. Special Cousins; Kemaun Covert, Robert White Jr., Benjamin Tasker Jr., and Angela White. A Devoted friend Jaclyn Hollidayoke, Troy DeJarnette and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Larry was proceeded in death by his father Larry L. Smith Sr., Grandmothers Dorothy Sellman, Mary E. Holland, God parents Kenneth & Mary Griffin.
