Larry Francis Johnson's Obituary
Larry Johnson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on April 2, 1955, Larry lived a life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering support for his family and community.
Larry will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Ann Johnson; his children, Jessica, Andrew, and Garrett Johnson; and his stepdaughters, Melissa Wall and Carolyn Jackson. He leaves behind a legacy of love that extends to his cherished grandchildren: Alaina, Quinn and Drew Johnson and Penelope and Paisley Johnson, Hazel and Gracelynn Jackson, and Tilghman Wall. Their memories of him will forever be treasured.
A skilled electrician, Larry dedicated many years to public service, retiring from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing after a distinguished career with the government. Beyond his professional achievements, Larry found immense joy in coaching and volunteering for his children’s many sporting endeavors. His dedication to his family extended beyond the field, shaping their lives with his love, support, and guidance.
Larry possessed a quiet strength and a generous spirit. He was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in his family, his love of the Washington Redskins, and his admiration for the iconic John Wayne. His fun loving personality touched the lives of all who knew him.
Larry's memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but also for the warmth, and love he provided to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Saturday, April 26th, at 3:00 PM at the American Legion, located at 1905 Crownsville Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. All who knew and loved Larry are welcome to attend and share memories of this exceptional man.
