Kim Denise Wickes' Obituary
Kim D. Jones-Wickes, was born January 26, 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Claude A. Green Jr. and the late Ruby C. Winters.
Kim received her education in the Philadelphia School District. Graduating from Simon Gratz High School. She was a store Manager for many major retail stores include Ann Taylor and Gap, lastly Brighton's. Kim was a true entrepreneur she was always looking for ways to generate income. If you knew Kim you knew she was business minded and was looking for business opportunities. Kim established D.R. Medical Scrubs in 2015.
Kim was united to Allen Wickes, Jr. on July 24, 1999. Previously Kim united in marriage with Eric Jones Sr. from that union was born Eric, Jr. and Christopher Jones and later with DeShon Hairston and from that union was born and Porscha and DeShon Hairston.
Kim was a Partner of Spirit of Faith Christian Center where she was taught by Drs. Mike & Dee Dee Freeman in Ellicott City, MD..
Kim lived her life as a faithful strong daughter of GOD. As Kim walked through the last three years she became stronger in the WORD of GOD. She became a "Delta" force she was not moved by anything but by what the WORD of GOD said. Kim did not shrink back by any means she continued to praise God through it all. Kim knew that to be absent from this earthly body was to be in the presence of the most high GOD. To GOD be the Glory!
Those left to celebrate a life well lived are Her husband Allen Wickes Jr., Four Children, Eric and Christopher of Philadelphia, PA and DeShon and Porscha of Annapolis, MD., One step daughter Keyanna Wickes; four grandchildren Christian Jones, Taren Hairston, Teontre Wright, and Ali Wright; and her beloved pet Louie.
Her life will also be celebrated by her father, Claude A Green Jr. of Wilmington, DE, and her two siblings who love her dearly and will sorely miss there sister, Claude Green, III (Debbie) of Philadelphia, PA and Faith Bernard (Michael, Sr.) of Chestertown, MD., brother in love Trey Hollis of Warren OH. As well Mahlon Jeffers (Joyce) parents in love of Middletown, DE., sister in love Alicia McCoy (Clinton) of Clinton, MD. and a host of relatives and friends.
