Kenneth Harold Early's Obituary
Kenneth H. Early, Sr of Bridgeville, Delaware passed away unexpectedly at the Bayhealth Hospital in Milford, Delaware, on April 18, 2023.
Kenneth was born May 30, 1935, in Rogersville, Tennessee and later moved to Annapolis, Maryland. He attended Annapolis High School and was drafted for the Vietnam War only to be disqualified due to a heart murmur. He then studied at the Radio Electronic Television School (RETS) in Baltimore, Maryland graduating in 1959 and soon after started Kenny’s TV and quickly became known as the TV Man of Annapolis, Maryland priding himself in honest work for an honest price. After many years running his TV business and as retirement years approached, he relocated to Delaware.
He loved sports especially his beloved Baltimore Orioles, the old Baltimore Colts, and Baltimore Ravens and did not want to miss watching the games on TV. He loved being involved with his children's sporting activities and was often seen on the fields coaching youth baseball receiving praise and acknowledgment from the Governor of Maryland. In his younger years he enjoyed traveling and was ready to go at a moment’s notice. He was an usher at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Annapolis, Maryland for many years.
He had quite the affection for animated toy gadgets especially for Christmas and no matter who visited he had to turn them on. Kenneth is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Elizabeth P. (Smith) Early of Bridgeville, Delaware and formerly of Annapolis, Maryland; his children: Kenneth H. Early Jr., Thomas A. Early, and Daniel A. (Stacy) Early of Annapolis, Maryland; his sister Ruby (Younker) Early; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Early; his mother, Lula Beal (Davenport) Early; and his son James E. Early.
