Kathleen Maria Rehorn's Obituary
Kathleen Maria Rehorn, 79, died peacefully at her son's home in Henderson, MD surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 15th, 2018. She was born to the late Victor and Kathleen Schmidt, on June 12, 1938. Kathleen had so much to offer as a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, confidant, secretary, and Realtor; and, at the age of 53, went back to school to follow her life-long calling to become a Registered Nurse. She continued to give her selfless love to many as a nurse until she was 70. She had the fortune to traveling the world with her wonderful husband, George F. Rehorn, her love of 46 years, and is now reunited with George. Kathleen is survived by her children; Joseph and wife Judy McCartney, Kathleen McCartney and partner Jerry Channell, Maureen and husband William Morris, Celeste McCartney and husband Austin McInerny; grandchildren Erin and husband Seth and great granddaughter Ashlyn Vander Zee, grandson Brian and wife Kristen McCartney, granddaughter Megan and husband Tim and great grandchildren Brayden, Isaac and Oliver Cole, grandson Michael and wife Michelle, great grandchildren Nathan, Brenden, Landon and Juliana McCartney, grandson John McCartney; sister Mary Gladys and husband Daniel Muchnok, sister Christiann and husband Stephen Griffith, sister Victoria and husband James Kelly. Visitation will be at Lasting Tributes located at 814 Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD on Monday, March 19th, from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held March 21st, at 11:00 am at North Wildwood United Methodists Church located 139 E 2nd Ave., Wildwood, NJ. Flowers may be sent to Lasting Tributes in Annapolis or to Christiann Griffith, 222 East Juniper Ave, Unit A, Wildwood, NJ 08260. Interment will follow in Marmora, New Jersey at Seaside Cemetery.
