Juliet Leia Carmichael's Obituary
Juliet (Julie) Leia Ford Carmichael was born April 21,1961 to the late Richard Ford and Mabel Martin Cromwell Ford. Juliet peacefully received her wings on February 2, 2024.
Juliet was educated in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She graduated from Severna Park Sr. High School in 1979. She then went on to join the United States Navy, excited to see the world! While on tour with the Navy she explored many counties including, Spain, Greece, Canada, Egypt (Suez Canal), Scotland and many parts of the United States. Her ships were the USS Emory S. Land, the USSLY Spear and the USS Simon Lake. She ranked as First Class Petty Officer SH1. When she was stationed in Annapolis, she was assigned to North Severn Naval Commissary. She was the best at this job because she could talk to so many people. And she loved to talk! And everyone loved to talk to her! She retired from the Navy in September, 1993. Juliet was married to her soul mate Alexander, on September 11th 1993. They were together for 30 years.
Juliet was a loving person who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was known to make everyone around her laugh and bring light to any room she entered. She made everyone feel loved. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Juliet leaves to mourn and cherish her many memories, her loving husband, Alexander Carmichael; her son Michael J Ford, two Daughters; Natosha M. Solarin (Adekoya), Alexandria L Carmichael; five grandchildren, Makayla M Ford, Averie M Ford, Arielle O. Solarin, Kayosoromi O Solarin, Li’Niyah R. Lea, Amari Z. Lea. One Sister; Reneé Ford Spears (Melvin) One Sister-In-Law; Dr. Diana Carmichael. Many of nieces and nephews; close cousins; The Ford Family, the Carmichael family;the Johnson/Coates Family and the whole Joyce Lane Family! A HeartFelt Home Assisted Living, Rhonda Robinson-Davis and staff. And a host of other family and friends. She loved them all and always spoke well of them.
