Julia Ann Woessner's Obituary
Annapolis area resident Julia (Julie) Woessner passed away from cancer on September 8, 2023, at her home in the Assisted Living unit at Sunrise of Severna Park.
Julie was born in Ashland, KY on December 4, 1932. She was the daughter of Theodore Lehman and Vivian Charlene (Compton) Lehman. The family relocated to Maryland during World War II. She lived in West Baltimore and attended Western High School. Julie married her high school sweetheart, Ellis (Wes), on September 20, 1952.
Following Julie's graduation from high school, she was employed by Baltimore Gas and Electric. She enlisted in the United States Air Force and severed most of her enlistment at the Pentagon.
Gardening and artwork brought her much pleasure, and she received a "Garden of the Month" award in Baltimore County.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ellis, sons Michael (Betsy) and David (Terry), nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia.
