Joseph Charles Wilson's Obituary
Joseph Charles Wilson was born on January 30, 1967 to Joseph Wilson and the late Jean Wilson in Baltimore, Maryland. Joseph, affectionately known as “Charles”, grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and eventually settled in Davidsonville, Maryland. He departed on November 25, 2014, at the precious age of 47.
Joseph was educated in the Anne Arundel County, Maryland Public School system. He worked hard and established himself as a diligent handyman, auto mechanic, and landscaper.
Joseph was a very kind hearted person that would help any and everyone. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Joseph was the epitome of an American “country boy”, as his hobbies included attending monster truck and drag racing shows, raising animals, watching wrestling and westerns, cutting hair, fishing, crabbing, playing cards, and simply being around family and friends.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memory- His father Joseph Wilson of Davidsonville, Maryland; his three daughters: Kortni Wilson of Annapolis, Maryland, Demondra Smith and Erica Contee of Baltimore, Maryland; three sisters: Annette McGowan and Gloria Willis of Annapolis, Maryland, and Cassandra Wilson of Baltimore, Maryland; four grandchildren: Kyron Wilson of Annapolis, Maryland, and Zi’quanne Cooper, Za’riyah Chamorro, and Antonio Young of Baltimore, Maryland. Joseph also leaves to cherish his memory a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11 AM at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care, P.A. 814 Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD 21401. A visitation will be open for family and friends 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be at Bestgate Memorial Park.
