Joseph Albert Russell IV's Obituary
Joseph A. Russell IV Age 59 died on July 11, 2022 at his home after he lost his battle with
sarcoma cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife Wendi of 22 years and his beloved sons Joseph, Robert and
Dalton, his mother Rose, sister Linda and her husband Bryon McCaulley, his sister in law Koren
Lynch, His Uncle John Buzgierski and Beverly Bateman, His 6 nieces and nephews Eugene,
Lee-Ann, Jon and Emily McCaulley, Liam and Avery Lynch.
Joe was born in Baltimore and grew up between Edgemere with his Grandparents Agnes and
John and his mother Rose in Middle River. He Graduated from Sparrows Point High in
Edgemere. He then spent the next 4 years serving his country in the United States Army as a
Communications Tele-a-Type Operator. He worked for 31 years at John Hopkins University as a
Maintenance Mechanic.
Joe loved hunting and fishing with friends and family especially with buddies Bob, Rodney and
Rich. He loved traveling around Maryland and surrounding areas and has spent many hours
traveling with Wendi to see the wildlife and the great outdoors. Joe earned his black belt in Kempo Karate just before he turned 40. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
There will be a private Celebration of Life, In Lieu of Flowers the family suggests making
contributions to St Judes Children Center or the American Cancer Society.
