Many of you may know my dad as Joe and some of you may remember him as Joey… to his children he was dad… it does not matter what you call him as we all remember him as a man who enjoyed his life, loved his children, believed famil Read Obituary
Joe was the very definition of a great man. I knew him for only a couple of years but it is my honor to say I knew him and I hold the chance to be a part of his family as a very special privilege. He made me laugh every time I talked with him and I can not help but smile when I think of him. I will sorely miss him every day and I will remember everything he taught me, especially when it comes to working on my house and using a saw! He would always come over with Kyle and watch pay per view with Elliott and I and we would have a great time because of Joe and his humor. Thank you Joe for being a part of my life, I know you will always be with Carrie, Elliott and myself.
I was sadden to hear of Joe's accident and prayed that he would recover and taken aback when I heard of his passing. Joe and I were co-workers and the memories I have make me smile. My first year with HVAC he asked that I play softball with his team and I did. A great time was had by us all and winning the championship over and over again, made it that much better and Joe loved the bragging rights. The following year and every year after that, he would asked again that I play but I told him "no, that I was getting too old and feared getting too beat up". He agreed with my sentiment and would say to me "yeah, I might not play either for the same reason". But sure enough, every year, there he was on the field playing and having the time of his life. He was a great ball player and always got the rest of his team mates fired up. He always enjoyed stirring things up and no matter how ruthless this bunch can be to one another, it was always done in good spirit and Joe always left us laughing, smiling or just shaking our heads at his antics. He will be missed. May his memories heal your hearts and put a smile on your face, because that's what Joe would want.
We were very sorry to hear about Joe's passing. My son and myself were co-workers of Joe at the University Of Maryland. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I remember going to Florida with Joe to pick up a person who was in trouble and needed help. Joe drove all the way to Fort Walton beach with me , and all the way back driving another car back up for me. He kept hiding in traffic and coming out and passing me laughing all the way back to Maryland! He loved to mess with people , and was a great friend and co-worker. He was always willing to help a friend in need, and he helped me many times when I was down or just needed some help. My life and the world was a much better place with Joe in it, and I will always miss his joking and sense of humor. I will never forget him, and he will always be in my thoughts, heart, and future, as a part of him will live on in everyone his life touched. I will always be his friend, and know I will see him again some day soon.
