Joseph Keegan Brady's Obituary
Joseph Brady died on July 25th at the age of 26 after succumbing to a 10 year daily battle with addiction and an even longer struggle with depression. If you knew Joe you were probably aware of the former but unaware of the latter. That's because he was well named. He was a warm affable "good ole Joe." A Great Guy. It seemed anyone who met him liked him and he in turn spread his love forward by helping hundreds of friends in recovery over his lifetime. He may have lived a fitful life but he lived it by the golden rule.
Joe attended Calvary pre-school, St Mary's Elementary, Archbishop Spalding High School and graduated from Annapolis High in 2008. Later he attended UCSD's program for drug counseling tailored for those in recovery. His talents were many only to be outdone by how he could light up a room.
Lord you gave us a wonderful beautiful son. What more could we possibly ask for? Now we give him back to you. May you treasure him and love him as much as we do.
May Joseph’s actions in life continue to benefit those he helped and may those he helped assist their brothers and sisters in return.
Joe’s family, his mother Valerie, father Kevin and sister Erin invite his friends to a memorial celebration of his life which will be held at Lasting Tributes 814 Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD 21401 on Sunday August 7th from 2-4 (3:30-4:00 speakers).
Donations in lieu of flowers please to Samaritan House 2610 Greenbriar Lane Annapolis, MD 21401.
