John Charles Schroyer's Obituary
John Charles Schroyer Sr of Worton, MD; died at home on December 24, 2012. He was 65.
Born in Baltimore , Maryland on November 14, 1947 he was the son of the late George Buchanon Schroyer and Mildred Schroyer. He also had a brother George Daniel Schroyer and sister Carol May Schroyer.
John attended Southern High. Then after receiving his GED, he worked for Monumental Life Insurance from 1970 to 1976. He then went into the sheet metal field and was a sheet metal mechanic from 1977 till 1997. In 1997, he had a massive stroke which left him disabled.
John enjoyed camping, crabbing, and fishing. He was also a diehard Ravens fan.
He is survived by his wife of forty four years, Judy Ann Schroyer; his sons John Schroyer of Centreville, MD and Chad Schroyer of Chester, MD; daughter-in-law Laura Schroyer of Chester, MD; brother-in-law Robert Johnson of Lansdowne, MD; and four grandchildren, Brett, Nicole, Lacey and Taylor Schroyer.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, January 4th between 10 am and 11 am at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care with a memorial service immediately following at 11am.
