John "Tommy" McWilliams' Obituary
John Thomas “Tommy” McWilliams; 68, of Davidsonville, MD passed away on August 20, 2024 from his long battle with liver cancer.
Born June 15, 1956, the beloved third son of the late Lula Lee England (Kenneth England), and Neal Clifton McWilliams. He is survived in death by the love of his life, wife Shawnee of 45 years; daughters Kristie McWilliams of Davidsonville, MD and Kasey Demetrakis (Michael) of Milford, DE and four grandsons; Cooper (13), Dominic (10), Parker (7) and Bennett (5) and three siblings Larry McWilliams (Julie) of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Randy McWilliams of Milford, DE and Kathy David (Donny) of Shady Side, MD, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Along with working at Giant Food, Inc. for 30 years, Tommy worked multiple jobs his whole life to provide for his family. He tried to make every day feel like Christmas for his grandsons. He lived his life devoted to his wife and family. He loved being a girl daddy and a grandfather to his 4 little men. Everywhere he was in life, he touched lives of everyone he came across, making lifelong friends who have become family.
He enjoyed gardening, painting, boating, fishing, NASCAR, attending his kids sporting events, and traveling to Deep Creek Lake with his dog; River and wife, Shawnee along for the ride.
A private celebration of life will be held in his honor at a later date, by invitation only.
