A great night with great friends
I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I have countless Preakness memories with John and Kelly. Although some of them may be blurry but that is my fault. John always had a smile and he was the calm one that kept us together. From the very beginning, John was always easy to talk to and often the conversation led to Vikings football which he loved. To the family, I'm sorry for your loss. He was a good man and we will always keep his fun-loving spirit alive. Many prayers are being said....Sandy O'Toole.
Spring Break 1984 trip with my Sigma Pi big brother and several other brothers to Nassau, Bahamas. No one warned us the sun was that strong….
Thoughts and prayers to the family. Peace be with you all. Paul Tinsley
Our family had the pleasure of buying John and Kelly’s home in Ellicott city. We were thrilled with the home they built together but especially thrilled with tickets on the apron at pimlico racetrack! We had the privilege to witness the closeness and celebration of many friends they would entertain each year. Very grateful to Kelly and John for their generosity and will never forget John’s love for race day. May God hold the Hanlon family close and bless them with His abiding love.
