John Butler's Obituary
John Butler Sr. affectionately known as “Johnny” departed this life on March 3, 2012 at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore; he was born June 25, 1947 to the late George and Dorothy Butler.
John enjoyed playing golf along with watching it on TV, listening to music, cooking (and would not allow you in his kitchen while he was cooking), watching his favorite teams play Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens. He was employed with several Restaurants in the Annapolis area as a Chef, Maryland Inn, Capital Raceway and the Hilton.
He was preceded in death by his parent George and Dorothy Butler, Brothers George Butler & James Surgeon.
John leaves to cherish his memories to his sons John Jr. (Torleta) Loganville, GA, Jerry (Robin) Dawsonville, GA; one brother James, six sisters; Dorothy Richardson, Rosalee Snowden, Patricia Miller, Gail Day, Sarah Johnson and Diane Armstrong; one sister in law Arcelius; 2 brother in laws Lewis Day and Maurice Miller Sr. Ten grandchildren Brandi, Sean-Paul, Jasmine, Jovan, Justin Takiya, John 3rd Pasha and Giovonnie. four great grandchildren; Jayen, Jordan, Jamir and Eaniya. Devoted friends Evelyn Proctor “Boodie”, Albert Wallace, Jelani Barrow, Ronald Jones, Johnny had a host of devoted family and friends whom he loved dearly.
John was a loving son and brother; father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed by all.
