John Patrick "Sean" Barry, 82, of Annapolis passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 4,, 2021. A native of Currans, County Kerry, Ireland, John was born on March 15, 1939 to the late Ned Barry and Margaret Barry (nee O'Conno Read Obituary
Sending my condolences and deepest sympathies to John's family and friends. I know my sister Michelle adored him and cherished his place in the lives of his grandchildren. May God welcome him into His kingdom and may we one day meet again.
John was so full of life! His wit and story telling never grew old. He was proud of his family, his friends and his heritage. He's one of the few who will not be forgotten.

I met John through my parents probably 40 years ago. I will always cherish his wit, charm and friendship. I loved spending time with him at all the events in Annapolis. Never not the life of the party, had such dignity and a positive outlook til the end. A life well lived. God bless John. Enjoy eternity in heaven. See you soon. JPL

A down-to-earth, genuinely good human being who had an energetic, enthusiastic zest for life, loved all of life. And all of life loved and literally adored him. Hard to imagine a physical world without John Patrick.
I have known John for over 40 years which began when I was secretary of the Irish American Club of DC. We reconnected at a memorial service for a mutual friend.
We shared a special friendship over the last almost 4 years . I miss him more than I could
ever express in words . He had a wit , charm, and humor that was uniquely John Barry .
