Joanne Elaine Saltzman's Obituary
Joanne Saltzman, a resident of Annapolis, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on November 4, 2025. She was 86 years old.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Bob Saltzman; daughter, Lori Mueller; grandchildren, Brandon Saltzman, Jason Mueller, Justin Saltzman, Elyse Mueller, Christopher Saltzman, Derek Saltzman, and Luciana Gannon; and great-grandchildren, Christian, Lilah, Naomi, and Reif. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Saltzman, James Saltzman, and Kenneth Saltzman.
Born in Washington, D.C., on August 8, 1939, Joanne spent most of her life in the Annapolis area with Bob, her husband of 67 years. Together, they were avid country dancers and spent many evenings on the dance floor wearing the matching outfits Joanne lovingly created by hand. She cherished caring for and spending time with her grandchildren and dedicated over 20 years to volunteering at Anne Arundel Medical Center alongside her husband. Joanne also enjoyed reading, sewing, and solving crossword puzzles.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Lasting Tributes at 1:30 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis MD 21401. Friends and family are welcome to gather in celebrating and remembering Joanne's life after her burial service.
