Jeanette Ann McNamara's Obituary
Jeannette Ann McNamara, a native Annapolitan who was born on February 18, 1921, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 15, 2016. She loved to lead worship services in song with her mother, where she sang and worshipped at Calvary Methodist Church on Church Circle, and had a gift of being able to whistle also in song and spirit. Jeannette was raised by her parents, Thomas and Nettie Cadell, on Charles St. before moving to Dewey Drive in Annapolis. She worked for the federal government and then, after marrying her beloved husband, William Wallace McNamara, had the privilege to raise her three sons: Glenn Thomas McNamara, Keith Cadell McNamara, and William “Jeff” Jeffrey McNamara. Jeannette loved to fish, had multiple cats and great respect and sponsored the St. Jude’s Young Indians. She is survived by her son, Keith Cadell McNamara; and good friend, Libby Wilkerson and family of the Annapolis area. A memorial service will be privately held at a later date. Gratitude and thanks to all friends and family that were there for her and her son, Keith Cadell McNamara. God Bless!
