Jean Remona Rock's Obituary
Jean Rock passed away January 27th, 2024, peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center, ready for the Lord to take her hand and guide her home. Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was greatly loved and will deeply be missed.
She was an extremely dedicated hard worker. She started working at the early age of 11 and was employed until she was 80 when Southern Maryland Acute Center closed. Jean graduated at age 17, moved to Washington D.C. to begin a career with the FBI. She was a Nursing home administrator for over 50 years. Very smart, sharp woman who instilled us all with a strong work ethic.
She cherished her family who meant everything to her. She was such a caring, loving, generous and selfless person with a heart of gold. She was loved by so many people, and she loved them. Jean was a very special lady, a truly beautiful soul that will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Janet) and daughter Jennifer Jean; stepdaughter Lisa; grandchildren Tiffany Jean, Kevin, and Chris Rock; great grandchildren Darrin, Izabella Jean, and Claire Marie. Jean is also survived by her brother Dwane Walker.
Wonderful memories will get us through our loss. Until we meet again in heaven. God Bless You Mom, We Love You!
Jean was a supporter of St. Jude’s Hospital. Her family asks that if you are so moved, you make a donation to this fund in her memory.
