She was such a warm and wonderful woman, her face would light up the biggest smile when I would see her. My daughter,Tatiana, who's nickname was Tot, or as Jeannie called her, Tater Tot or just Tater for short.

Tater was a extra bonus child to her and her wonderful family. Michael and Tater thought it was funny when I asked Mickey what her mom's name was when I went to meet her for the first time, they told me her name was Janet. So for about 6 months I called her Janet, she was always kind about it and never corrected me. What a sweetie.

Tater spent many days and nights at their house and Jeannie/Janet always thought of Tater as one of her own children, following her achievements, a very proud 2nd mom that was a wonderful positive influence to her.

The world has lost a beautiful soul, way too soon. I am honored to have met you and had you in my daughter's life. Rest easy my friend, your legacy of beautiful children and grandchildren will carry on your love.

We walked the beach together- I was trying to get her to see how special each shark's tooth was, but she wasn't having it. She was a sheller 100%. She showed me a shell she picked up and said "see how beautiful this is." It was broken on the back side. I told her "aww it's broken - we'll find you a whole one and I tossed it away." She went and picked it up. "No, I want this one, I love it. Look at this - how it curls around inside," showing me the broken side. "Did the creature inside make this? Or did God make it this way. It's beautiful and I'm taking it home so I can look at it everyday." I have thought about that many times. That was how Jeannie looked at people. She didn't care how they looked or dressed, she cared about what was inside. I try to be like her, she was the best buddy, so very kind and giving. She would do anything for anybody. Each day I'll try and look at the beauty inside, as I collect my broken shells on the beach.

I work with Jeannie's sister in law, Donna, and offer my sincere condolences to all family and friends, and her husband Mike. It's heartwarming to read her obituary and see the bright life she lived, and I hope Jeannie's loved ones can find peace in remembering the laughter, love and joy she brought. Sincerely, Tiffany.

Aunt Jeannie never failed to put a smile on everyone’s face. My greatest memory was her putting on way too much sunscreen the one time I actually got her to put it on the entire cruise. She had an amazing heart and I am so grateful to have had her in my life.
