Javonn N. Parker's Obituary
Scripture – My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. – Psalm 73:26
Javonn Nicole Parker, age 39, was born on February 4, 1986, in Baltimore, MD, to Tynea Jackson and Warren Parker. Fondly known as Jae, she departed this life peacefully, on May 26, 2025.
Raised in Annapolis Maryland, Javonn graduated from Anne Arundel County Public Schools, successfully completed a HVAC certification, but ultimately settling for her passion as a licensed Cosmetologist, frequently working for salons such as Great Clips and Sports Clips throughout Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City. Javonn also enjoyed working seasonal positions at M&T Bank Stadium for the Baltimore Ravens. She enjoyed the excitement of meeting new people.
Javonn, gave her life to Christ through Reverend, Stephen Tillett, and was a member of Asbury Broadneck United Methodist Church in Annapolis, MD. Jae would occasionally blast gospel music throughout her apartment, as an alter call for her neighbors in her building and they all loved it.
Javonn’s bold and outspoken personality was difficult to understand but respected by many. She passionately loved her family and continuously made impactful friendships wherever she went. She demanded the attention in every room and lived her life how she chose.
Giving generously, was one of Jae’s characteristics. She always tried to help whenever she could. Javonn would often take family packs of chicken out of her mother’s freezer to help the grandmother down the street who was raising her seven grandchildren. Javonn would make plates of dinner for Mr. Frank, the older gentlemen in the neighborhood, who had lost his wife and home in a fire. Jae would also often dedicate her time to give back to the homeless in Baltimore city. The bible says if you do this onto the least of these, you have done them unto me. Our girl was a giver, even if it wasn’t hers to give.
Jae’s outgoing characteristics were widely inspired by activities such as shopping, partying, eating out, singing and dancing. Jae loved attending festivals, family dinner and game night at mom’s house, but most importantly, Jae loved to stay fly. Hair done, nails done, everything done! Some of her hobbies included journaling and poetry – Whooo! – She could put some words together… if you know, you know.
Javonn Nicole Parker was preceded in death by her father, Warren Parker, grandfathers, Trafford Jackson and Roger Parker Sr., and aunts Jean Sims and Alicia Ziegler.
Javonn’s passing leaves a tremendous void for all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving mother, Tynea Jackson, her one and only favorite brother, Korey Nicholson, her grandmothers, Anna Sims and Delores Parker, nephews Kyree and Kru Nicholson. Her aunts, Faith Parker, Melinda Berry, Pamela Parker, and Stephanie P. Flowers. Her uncles, Charles B. Sims Jr., Roger L. Parker Jr., Keith Brown, Christopher Parker, and Brian Parker. Three special aunties, Robin and Deanna Hawkins, and Chelsea Phillips. An enormous
number of cousins, so many friends, and a host of other close relatives, close acquaintances. – too many to name, but all were loved and cherished by Jae. Of course, her beloved cat, parker, and her princess of a dog, Lilly – aka Mary Elizabeth, who would have attended the service if not for pet restrictions.
Javonn Nicole Parker, you will be terribly missed by all who shared love for you. We love you, and we take comfort in knowing that to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord!
Rest Easy Jae Bird, we love you forever!
