Jasmen Gennene Wilkerson, born on July 13, 1976, to Betty Ann Wilkerson and the late Marion Wilkerson, entered eternal rest on July 1, 2024 in Brooklyn Park, Maryland.
Gennene, known to her friends as "Big Country" received her education in Anne Arundel County Public Schools, where after, she went on to become a domestic worker. Gennene was a very outspoken person and said everything on her mind. She loved her friends and family with all her heart. She would never sit still long enough for a conversation or even a meal, but that was her way of being whom she was. However, if you needed her for anything, she was always there to lend a hand.
Gennene was preceded in death by her father, Marion Wilkerson; 2 uncles, William Neil and Pappy Wilkerson; her grandfather, Albert Eugene Foot; and son, Michael.
Gennene leaves behind to mourn, her mother, Betty Ann Wilkerson of Galesville, Maryland; 3 daughters, Kambria Walker of Baltimore County, Santi Renee of St. Mary's County, and Roslyn Gray of Churchton, Maryland; a sister, Jeanettia Wilkerson of Annapolis, Maryland; 4 uncles, James, Roland, and Albert Foot all of Galesville, Maryland, and Tyrone Neal, Sr. of Glen Burnie, Maryland; an aunt, Angela Jones, and devoted cousin, Tyrone Neal, Jr. both of Annapolis, Maryland; 2 nieces, Anika Gross of Prince George's County, and Adajia Graves of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; 1 nephew, Ryan Graves of Hampton, Virginia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
