Janice Marie Forrester's Obituary
Janice Marie Forrester; 63, of Pasadena, MD passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 8, 2023 after a brief illness and hospitalization.
Janice was born on November 15, 1959 in Baltimore, MD. She was the 9th child of 10 children born to Haley Forrester, Sr. and Gertrude Watkins-Forrester. She was raised on the family farm in Galesville, MD where she lived most of her early life before later moving to the Annapolis and Glen Burnie areas and eventually settling in Pasadena, MD.
Janice received her formal education from Anne Arundel County Public Schools and graduated with the 1978 class of Southern Senior High School in Harwood, MD. She later continued her studies to become a certified Medicine Technician. Janice had a passion for helping people and enjoyed working with many clients at several nursing facilities throughout Anne Arundel County until her disability prevented her from doing what she loved best.
Janice was an avid reader and spent many hours sitting quietly reading one of her many books from her vast collection. She loved reading all types of genres; drama, fiction and romance novels were some of her favorites. Janice loved to travel and spend quality time with her family and friends. Some of Janice’s other favorite things to do were to listen to gospel music, shopping, cooking, and watching murder mystery shows. Just before her passing the single most important thing for Janice was to spend as much “Mom time” as she could with her son Jonathan and her bonus grandkids; Jaxson and Madison. The four of them shared priceless and unmeasurable joy, smiles and heart-warming laughter that will be remembered for a long time.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents; Haley Forrester, Sr. and Gertrude Watkins-Forrester, 3 Brothers; Haley, Jr., Douglas and Larry Forrester.
She leaves fond memories to cherish to her life-long partner and love of her life Gerald Wilson; 1 son; Jonathan Wilson. 1 bonus son; Gerald Wilson, Jr.
3 sisters; Mary Galloway, Shirley Wright and Irene Lamb. 3 brothers; Richard Forrester (Constance), George Forrester, and Tuwa Abdulla (Donya).
