My Mother, Sue Sledge (Betty Sue Atkinson) also went to high school at Minden High School, class of 1952. I still have her high school year books! She often spoke of "Jan Calvit" as her high school best friend. My Mom passed in 1981 but I had often hoped to find her best friend, Jan!
