Jane Munz Taliaferro, 79, of Annapolis and previously of Arlington, VA passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Sunrise Assisted Living after a long and courageously fought battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Otto John and Gerta Helga Munz on August 7, 1944.
A 1966 graduate of the University of Maryland she spent most of her professional career as a housing specialist at the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, retiring in 1994. She sailed and raced sailboats throughout the Chesapeake region and beyond.
