James Henry Henderson, Jr., son of the late James H. Henderson, Sr., and Anna Henderson was born on March 02, 1953. On January 1, 2021,
God dispatched angels to guide his soul, peacefully, from life to eternal rest in glory!
Boo, as he was affectionately known by family and friends received his education in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. James was employed at the Anne Arundel County Government for twenty five years as a maintenance worker until his health failed him.
On July 7, 2007, he was united in holy matrimony to Marvina Brown.
James (Boo) loved sports particularly basketball. When he lived downtown on Fleet Street where he grew up. He would never miss going to the Annapolis Recreation Center to play basketball with his downtown and uptown friends. We knew exactly where to find him.
James, was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin and friend.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his devoted wife Marvina Henderson of thirteen years who he couldn’t wait to marry; five children, Erica Bates (Steven), Latasha Matthews (Jurell), Marj Henderson, Billy Mcneill, and Camille Walburn (James); seven grandchildren, Steven Staples, Symonne Bates, Jurrell Matthews, Iyanna Mcneill, Marina Mcneill, Sunny Walburn and Trevor Walburn; one great-grand child, Trinity Staples; mother, Anna Henderson (whom he talked to everyday);three sisters, Bonnie and Rita Henderson and Deborah Kent; two brothers, Michael and Brian Henderson; two sister-in-laws, Paula Brown and Deborah Ann Johnson; four brother-in-law, Bruno, Reno, Kermit Brown and Wesley Tydings; two adopted sons, Warren Juan Gray(Grape) and Antonio Gray Sr., adopter god-mother, Anne Bowie; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Reginald, Sr. and Eric Henderson; two sisters Sandra Wilson and Wanda Tydings.
