James Ernest Armentrout's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of James E. Armentrout, known to family and friends as “Jimmy,” announced his passing on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at the age of 64. Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by his companion of 33 years, Gina, and his children and step-son: James (Angela), Brian, Brooke and Glenn Shipley, Jr. (Brian). Jimmy will also be fondly remembered by his grandson, Jaxson, by his sister, Patricia, and by his step-brothers, Roy Copenhaver and Ray Copenhaver. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Molly Gail (Copenhaver) Armentrout, and his sister, Linda Haynes.
For 33 years, Jimmy was the owner of a home improvement company, Trout Construction, LLC. His passions included fishing, automobile racing, collecting guns, and riding motorcycles, but above all, it was spending time with his family. Jimmy would often comment that his family was the light of his life, and that he was so proud of having a part in the lives of each one. He felt extremely blessed to be able to spend time with his grandson, Jaxson, and would often share daily pictures of him. He will be sorely missed by his family.
In keeping with Jimmy’s wishes, the family will have a private remembrance to honor his life.
