James Vincent Aorilio Jr.'s Obituary
James Vincent Aorilio, Jr, aka Jimmy, died peacefully at the age of 59 with his family by his side on August 7, 2017 in the beautiful Hospice of Chesapeake facility in Pasadena, MD.
Jimmy was born July 10, 1958 to James Aorilio and Mary Lou O’Cain Aorilio. He was raised in Annapolis, Maryland along with his sister, Lynne. He attended St. Mary’s Elementary School and Annapolis High School.
Jimmy met his wife, Tracie Michele German Aorilio in 1989 and married in 1991. Together they had two sons and a daughter – James Vincent Aorilio, III aka Jammer, 24; Jonathan David Aorilio, aka JD, 21; and Jacie Lynn Aorilio, 19, and resided in the Cape St. Claire community of Annapolis, MD.
He was especially fond of going to the beach, watching his children in their various sporting activities, and his cats and dogs.
He worked for the City of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County in their Public Works divisions.
Jimmy is survived by his wife and three children along with his parents, James and Denise Aorilio; sister, Lynne Roy and her husband, Jim Roy; two stepbrothers and their spouses, Brian and Barbara Stine, and Joseph and Shellee Stine; aunt, Francis Pyles; 13 nephews and 7 nieces.
He was preceded in his death by his mother, Mary Lou Aorilio.
A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Cape St. Claire UMC, 855 Chestnut Tree Drive, Annapolis, MD 21409. Visitation with the family from 1pm to 3pm. The funeral service will begin at 3pm followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to his church, Cape St. Claire UMC.
