Ida Nancy Plaugher's Obituary
Ida Nancy (Vaccarino) Plaugher, age 87 years of Stevensville, Maryland passed away on December 21, 2025. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Joseph and Carmela (D'Anna) Vaccarino.
Ida was the loving wife of the late James Plaugher, Sr. She was the devoted mother of James Plaugher, Jr. and his wife Tina, Deborah Plaugher, Nancy (Plaugher) Palardy and the late Michael Palardy. Ida is also survived by her four grandchildren - James C. Plaugher and his wife Erin, Joseph Plaugher, Ryan Palardy and his wife Madeline, and Kristen Palardy. In addition, three great grandchildren - Marcus Plaugher and Ryleigh and Ashlyn Palardy. And also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy (Vaccarino) Neukam, and brothers Peter, Salvatore, and Joseph Vaccarino.
Ida loved spending time with her family at gatherings and on vacations. She was always the life of the party. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in her backyard and watching sunrises and sunsets. She also enjoyed working in her garden.
Ida retired from the District Court of Maryland as an Administrative Assistant.
In honor of her, the family asks that memorial contributions in her name be made to the Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.
