Henrietta Joyce Trundle's Obituary
Henrietta “Nonie” Trundle of Annapolis, MD, was peacefully called to
the presence of her Lord at the Charter House on November 6, 2025.
“Retta” was born in Washington, D.C., on December 12, 1933, the
daughter of Joseph and Celeste Brunori. Following her parents to
Florida, Retta attended Miami High School. She pursued her passion
for singing by becoming a professional singer early in her life. Retta
returned to Washington, D.C., in 1963, where she met the love of her
life, Kenneth Trundle. They were married in 1967 and enjoyed 32 years
of wonderful marriage.
Together, they served countless people during their many years at Mt.
Oak United Methodist Church. Retta loved arranging flowers for the
church and the wider community. To know Retta was to love her. She embraced everyone
with compassion and love. She taught us, by her own example, to lead with kindness, to forgive freely, and to seek God's direction in all things. Retta especially cherished her relationship with Christ and her family. Her life was a testament to the beauty of love.
She is survived by her two sons, J.R. and Eddie Trundle, and her three
granddaughters, Kelsey Trundle, Kylie Trundle, and Briannon Bielich.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 1:30 to
2:00 p.m. at Christ Reformed Evangelical Church, 1841 Generals Hwy,
Annapolis, MD 21401, with Henrietta’s funeral service beginning at 2:00
p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Oak Church Cemetery in
Bowie, MD.
