Heidi was such a lovely person -- always cheerful and often witty. Nick and I (Leigh), her across-the-way neighbors, miss her smile, and Leigh will miss talking about gardening. And Spanish classes. I admired her that she stayed so active. To Heidi's sisters, in-laws, niece, nephew and friends, all of our condolences and prayers. I will keep a candle burning for her come All Hallow's Eve and All Souls' Day this year.
Heidi was our aunt from America. We are proud of her. We will keep their person in honor and are sad that she has left us.

Working at Maryland Hall, my husband and I had the opportunity to often talk to Heidi. She was a fascinating person with a true love of life. She inspired those of us whom she shared stories of her life with.
Our lives are definitely greener for having known her and the world a better place for those whom she touched with her kindness. While we are saddened by her passing, we celebrate her life with fond memories.

Heidi was my dear friend for over 18 years. We used to work together. When she retired, our friendship continued. I miss her every single day. He was a wonderful person. Pat Garufi
