Gloria Gigliotti Ninke's Obituary
Gloria Ninke passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024 at her home at Brightview Assisted Living in Edgewater, Maryland. She was 91 years old.
Born on December 30,1932 in Norristown PA. She was the daughter of Angelo Gigliotti and Elizabeth Scalzo Gigliotti.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Mary T Giaimo, CW04 Vincent J. Gigliotti and Capt. Felix P. Gigliotti.
She was married to Lt. Carl A. Ninke, III until his passing in 2013.
She worked as a Records Manager and Administrative Assistant for General Electric Company in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania until her retirement in 1992.
Carl and Gloria moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and enjoyed a life of golfing, entertaining, and playing with their Chocolate Labs, Brandy, Chip and CJ.
Gloria was a fantastic cook and specialized in Italian recipes passed down from her mother. She was known to make pizzelles and bring them to every family event.
Although she never had children, she was a devoted Aunt to her nieces, nephews and their children. She always made a point of attending birthdays, graduations and reunions, no matter how far she had to travel. Gloria moved to Annapolis, Maryland in 2018 to live closer to her family.
She will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held on May 7,2024 from 11am to 2pm at Lasting Tributes Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, Maryland.
Interment will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
