Glendora Walker's Obituary
Glendora Walker (Kirby), 65, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Glen Burnie Health & Rehabilitation Center after a short illness.
Glendora was born on July 9, 1956 in Annapolis, MD to the late Charles E. Blunt and Sarah V. Kirby. She was educated in Anne Arundel Count Public Schools. Glendora worked for the State of Maryland for years, and the Evening Capital. She enjoyed her hobbies which included crossword puzzles, celebrating birthdays, and babysitting for the families in the community.
In her earlier years, Glendora attended Mt. Zion Methodist Episcopal Church, located in Eastport. She relocated to North Carolina and in 2010 she married Davis Eugene Walker.
Glendora was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. Blunt and Sarah V. Kirby; siblings: Geraldine Williams, Charles Kirby, James Blunt and Lynette Kirby.
She leaves her love and memories to be cherished by her loving husband, David Eugene Walker, Glorian Gowns, Dana Blunt, John Blunt, Linda Kirby, all of Annapolis; one uncle, William B. Kirby; and Vicky Sharps (Dallas) of Edgewater, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
