Jeri was like family to me. She was the best neighbor ever. We talked about Billy. We talked about my daughters. We talked about Alan. She was so kind and such a great listener. She watched over us and we watched over her. I miss her smile and hello each morning and afternoon. We went away the weekend of January 22nd. We were picking up our daughter and hadn't seen her in months. Jeri knew how excited we were. Jeri was there when we arrived home on January 24th with open arms. She wrote a beautiful card that welcomed us home and gave us baked bread. She would often bring us food. Her baking skills were extraordinary. That card is on our refrigerator. Keep watching over us, dear Jeri. You will always be in our hearts.
Jeri was a thoughtful, caring and giving neighbor. She would never hesitate to ask about our family and how all the kids were doing. On many occasions I would come home to find fresh bread....or cookies....or tomatoes from her garden, hanging on the door knob. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend and I will miss, do miss, her presence next door. Go catch up with Billy, put on some Chet Atkins and have a dance.

My sister and I had gotten very close over the years. We talked just about every day. She loved her two Chahwalwa that now live with me. I miss her dearly and will remember her always. Rest in peace Sis
