George "Doug" Beazley's Obituary
George Douglas Beazley (Doug) passed away suddenly on June 17, 2015 at his home in Leonardtown, Md. Doug was born in Annapolis, Md. He was 42 years old.
After graduating from Annapolis High School, he enjoyed working with Severn Sailing Association. He also became a certified diver. He enlisted in the Marine Corp and was stationed in Seattle, Washington. After coming back home, he became a satellite dish installer. He eventually joined his dad’s business and became a welder. He enjoyed deep sea fishing and beach fishing. He also was an avid Nascar fan and loved the times he shared with his daughter, Mariah. One of his special loves was his dog, Misty, and her recent passing really broke his heart. He had a very quick wit and could always make people laugh with his weird humor.
Doug is survived by his loving parents, George and Penny Beazley; his daughter, Mariah Pierre of Calvert Co.; his sister, Dawn May (Werner); one nephew, Daniel Davis of Annapolis; one niece, Erin May Lingerman of Va.; two aunts, Betty Hantske and Cathy Davis; and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Doug’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org), or to the ASPCA (aspca.org/donate).
