Gary Alan Lester Steppler-Krieg's Obituary
Gary Alan Steppler-Krieg passed on November 5, 2015. He was 70.
Gary was born on September 21, 1945 in Scranton, PA and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, son of the late Gustav Krieg and Muriel Ray Krieg. Gary received a high school diploma and later graduated from electrical trade school. He worked with the Electrical Union IBEW Local 26, where he received a 20 year award. He enlisted into the US Air Force in 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1967, receiving a Marksmanship award.
Gary will always be remembered for being a family man, spending time riding his Harley and shooting pool over a beer with family and friends. He was an honest man, loyal, conservative, dependable, experienced, dedicated and hardworking, with a unique sense of humor that few got to see. Gary was a best friend to his family; a devoted confidant. He never hesitated to drop everything to offer a hand to a friend in need. Gary will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Gary was a member of the Harley Owners Group, IBEW Retired Members Club, and the American Legion.
Gary is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen Steppler-Krieg; children, Gary Jr., Kelly, Wayne, Jesse, Aaron and Crystal; siblings, Roy Krieg, Delores Kratzer, and Rita Vitterito. He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles and Wayne Krieg.
